If you've got time in the evening, we definitely recommend booking in to a show. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre has a show on most nights of the week, and the shows tend to run for months at a time.

Do a walking tour

The best way to see the town is on a walking tour with a local guide. Running every day (all year round!) at 11am from the Gower Memorial, join Walking Tours in Stratford-Upon-Avon for a tour. Info and booking here.

They run events which usually includes some puzzles and is family-friendly, so we'd recommend looking on their website ahead of going to see what's on at the time!

Visit Shakespaw's Cat Cafe

A visit to Stratford-Upon-Avon isn't complete without visiting Shakespaw's Cat Cafe - what a name!! Hang out with some furry friends and have some coffee/cake to relax after a morning stroll. Very centrally located on Union Street, this cafe is more than worth a visit.

Visit Tudor World

One of the hottest spots to visit in Stratford-Upon-Avon is Tudor World. It's a living history museum set in a 16th century house. They've created a really atmospheric environment and it's definitely worth spending a couple of hours. The whole place is very family-friendly too so a good place to visit with kids!
