We love blogging about South Queensferry, the seaside town where we've recently started our tours. Whether it be writing about our favourite walks, our favourite cafes or our favourite things to do, we have something for any tourist.

Today, we are continuing on writing about South Queensferry... This time delving into the best restaurants!

1. Hawes Inn

An incredibly historic inn, no trip to South Queensferry is complete without a stop here. I have visited the restaurant many times throughout the years, even spending a birthday here. In terms of food, the restaurant offers traditional pub food, with roast dinners being served on Sundays.

2. Scotts at Port Edgar Marina

In lockdown I used to walk past this restaurant every single day, though as it was closed at the time I never had the chance to go in. It's a real shame, as the menu really is wonderful. As well as there being a breakfast menu, there is an all-day menu. Delicacies on offer include a range of seafood including lobsters, mussels and langoustines.

3. The Railbridge Bistro

I have fond memories of visiting the restaurant in the summer, sitting outside basking in the sun. If you're visiting on a colder day, however, there is the option to sit inside too. There is a lot on offer on the menu, from traditional fish and chips to salmon to burgers. Last time I visited I enjoyed a portion of chips - bliss!

4. Samphire Seafood and Bar and Grill at Orocco Pier

Quality is the key ingredient of every meal you'll find here. Whilst taking in the view of the railway bridge, enjoy whatever takes your fancy. We think that the seafood looks particularly enticing, with Grilled West Coast lobster being served here.

5. Queen's Spice Indian Restaurant

Apparently, the restaurant is named after the famous Queen of Spice, Noor Jahan. The place offers good quality meals, all headed by a chef who has over thirty years experience in Indian cooking. Serving all your typical Indian delicacies, choose from the likes of chicken tikka, chicken korma and lamb. They also serve new dishes that they have created, such as Chicken Munchirian.
