Liverpool is an exciting city, bustling with things to see and do. In our last blog, we covered some of the attractions that both locals and visitors to the city can enjoy. Today, we delve into our favourite restaurants in the city... We hope we can inspire you to visit at least a couple!

1. Sapporo Teppanyaki

Feeling like trying some Japanese food with a Western twist? Then Teppanyaki is the place for you! What makes this place so special is that the chefs give a teppanyaki performance and prepare the meals in front of you. The menu is rich with choice: sushi, noodles and spring rolls are just some of the delicacies to try out.

2. Almost Famous

The restaurant has partnered with Aubrey Allen, one of the best butchers in the UK - they deliver to the likes of Buckingham Palace. The burgers are of such a high quality and are succulent and delicious. They are also massive, so can be quite a difficult eat. But if one looks at all the highly praising reviews online, one realises this restaurant is definitely worth it.

3. Salt House Tapas

This is the go-to place if you feel like having some tapas. They have several menus, including a vegan menu and a gluten free menu. The restaurant offers a wide range of Spanish-inspired dishes, perfect for if you want to feel as if you are no longer in Liverpool.

4. The Art School Restaurant

The restaurant is based in a building with a fascinating history - in Victorian times, it used to be a home for destitute children. Nowadays, it is quite the posh restaurant, offering a nice selection of meals. Some meal examples include ox tongue and guinea fowl - quite different to the meals they would have served here in Victorian times!

5. Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza

The chefs here follow the traditional pizza-making technique that is used in the Italian home of pizza, Naples... When here one might think that one is in Naples rather than in Liverpool. We visited this restaurant only last week and thoroughly enjoyed the salami pizza - we'll definitely be back!
