9:30am: Have Brunch at The Grumpy Chef
Have a leisurely lie in on your holiday and then head for brunch at The Grumpy Chef. With tons of great reviews and excellent food, don't miss this breakfast spot on your trip to the city.
11:30am: Take a Walking Tour!
Our daily walking tour starts at 11:30am from the Visit Scotland iCentre on High Street. Learn about the city's fascinating history and modern culture during the 1.5 hour tour.
1pm: Have Lunch at McBain's Restaurant by the River
Enjoy a lunch overlooking the River Ness at this lovely restaurant. With changing menus, try a wide range of foods, from Scotland and further afield.
2pm: Explore Leakey's Bookshop
This is an absolute must on a trip to Inverness. Explore this second-hand bookshop on multiple levels and get the perfect Instagram shot. Make sure to buy something unique to take home.
2:30pm: Visit Inverness Museum & Art Gallery
If you fancy learning some more about Inverness and the area, make sure to give the museum a visit. They run different exhibitions during the year as well as having exciting permanent exhibitions to explore. If you're particularly interested in the history of the Highlands in general, this is a great visit.
5pm: Have a Pint and Dinner at a Local Pub, Hootannany
You can't visit a Scottish city without enjoying a pint and a pub dinner. One of the most popular pub spots in Inverness is Hootannany which has also won several awards. They have live Scottish music sessions regularly as well if you fancy seeing some traditional music.
7pm: See a Movie/Show at Eden Court
Eden Court is the centre of the Arts in Inverness so if you fancy a night activity that doesn't include lots of alcohol, go and see a movie or show at this lovely arts venue.
It doesn't really matter what you get up to in Inverness, we're sure you'll have a great time whatever you do!
