WALKING TOUR

On this private tour, get your bearings and discover Glasgow through a local ‘weegies’ eyes. A must do on any visit to Glasgow. You will witness and learn about our rich, turbulent history and how it has shaped Glasgow into the vibrant city it is today. The tour lasts around 1.5 hours and give you a great introduction to our wonderful city.

​Throughout the tour you will take a look at some of the famous and lesser known figures to Glasgow, such as our patron saint St Mungo, and even Dr Who! Hear their stories as we travel through the centuries and explore what Glasgow has to offer.

Some of the sites you will cover include:

  • George Square

  • Glasgow Cathedral and Necropolis

  • The Duke of Wellington

​As well as some hidden treasures of the city that you wouldn't see by yourself!

You'll spot our guide with our bright orange umbrella/jackets. The tour usually ends at the Gallery of Modern Art, which is right next to George Square.

You can book a private tour and pay through our website here. The price is for a group of up to 6 people and you can choose your own start time.

If you wish to choose a different starting point (such as your hotel), please email us and we can arrange this for you. If you wish to add lunch/food, we can arrange this for you as well via email.

Bookings must be made 48 hours in advance.
